Deb is honoured and very excited to be invited into the inaugural PARC Studio Tour.
Although new to the local “Art Scene”, creating artistic works has been a lifelong passion.
Presently, her favorite medium is alcohol based inks, which are brushed onto glazed tiles, sealed and treated, ready to hang in your home.
You will always find her collection of works use the most vibrant and vivid of colours, depicting memories from her favourite travels. Scenes from Tofino’s old growth rainforests, Sooke and Port Renfrew waterfalls along with East Coast villages, including in the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland. Local settings in our Ottawa Valley towns will be familiar to many.
Deb is an avid gardener and draws inspiration from the pallet of colours Mother Nature presents throughout the seasons.
The “Etc.” refers to an ever-changing fun collection as whim and whimsy dictates. Exquisite decoupaged BC oyster shells, hand painted crystal glassware and silk scarves to name a few.
Deb will be found as a guest artist at the home of the very talented Tamara Campbell in Burnstown on Sunday of the Tour.
