Trish Legault is an Ottawa Valley artist and a Canadian Army Veteran. She followed in her father’s footsteps and joined the Military at the age of 35. Legault utilizes oil paint, charcoal, acrylic paint, pastels, clay and other materials to add depth and dynamic to her works. As a war veteran, Legault often reflects topics of physical and mental health in today’s world. Trish is a graduate of the Ottawa School of Art with a Fine Arts Diploma. She participated in exhibits in Ottawa and in Petawawa. Trish is a recipient of the Martha Markowsky Mature Female Student Scholarship and an enthusiastic host of the TV Series “Love to Paint with Trish”. She was published in Veteran Voices on YourTV, Domaine Gulf Port magazine, Steel Spirit Artist Spotlight. And featured in Borden Citizen and Bradford Today as the Artist Spotlight. Trish spends her retirement painting, sculpting and volunteers her talents in the community.
